Bubble Bebop

Welcome the first ever ✨BUBBLE BEPOP✨

Cierra with Cierra Dae Conscious Creations and Devyn Castro-Almeyda bring you joy, play, and connection in the form of dance and bubbles!

At bubble bebop, Cierra will be leading silly movement and songs to help open up the body and our play. Then Devyn and Cierra will be walking you through a quick (child oriented) instructional on beginners steps for East Coast Swing and following the teaching we'll have an open dance and bubble party for ALL people to explore! (ages 0-100)

The bubble party will include Bubble Exploration stations where little hands and big hands can make bubbles of all sizes, bubble machines creating magic at all times, and music to fuel the fun and allow our inner children to explore and play along with our children!

Music will range from jazz, rockabilly, boogiewoogie, blues, and any other beats that make our feet and hearts swing!

This class is currently free but donations are deeply appreciated, help us to supply bubbles and fun, and will help to keep us coming back with more events!

NOTE: THIS EVENT WILL BE VIDEOGRAPHED AND PHOTOGRAPHED BY Devyn Castro-Almeyda. BY CLAIMING A TICKET, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO PHOTOS AND VIDEOS BEING TAKEN OF YOU AND/OR OF ANY MINORS IN YOUR CARE IN THE DURATION OF BUBBLE BEBOP. This will be a protected container, which means that there will be boundaries held during the classes to protect children and individual personal body boundaries. Things like: not being picked up or touched without permission and consent from the individual (or parent/caregiver), no judgements of peoples choice of expressions or lack of expressions (remembering that judgement is a mirror of our own insecurities or maybe something we're needing), and kind/respectful/honoring language being used when speaking to others within the container. I will do my best to hold these specific boundaries as the host of this event (I take this very seriously), but I am an advocate for you to use this space to practice placing and holding loving boundaries for yourself and for your children, because we all have different limits and to understand you we need to hear you!

💖These gatherings are flexible and fun, incorporating a lot of body movement, dancing, singing, chanting, and overall chaos.

💖Most of us are taught to suppress our emotions and feelings, so we suppress our voice and movements- this is a space to practice coming back into our bodies and voices.

💖Children (and us adults) need safe outlets for their weird, crazy, fun expressions of emotions and feelings.

💖Its time to remember the magic of bubbles, ribbon wands, silly dancing, breath, and fascination with our human experience. Its time for an inner child reclamation!

A typical run down of our time together:

ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ Circle time: Breathing Practices, Body stretchin’

ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ Movement time: Freeze dance game, East Coast Swing dance instruction (10-15 min), playing, silliness with shakey eggs to encourage movement!

ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ Bubble and open dance party: giant bubbles, little bubbles, and bubbles of sizes in between while we groove and move to music!

🧚🏼WHAT IS THE INNER CHILD?

The inner child is an archetype (think of it like a mascot) of our personality that holds all of the lived experiences of our past. When we get back in touch with our inner child through play, visualizations, letters, and other tools, we make space for healing those parts of our experiences that were hard or challenging for us as children. It gives us more space to look at our beliefs that we formed because of these years and took into our adulthood that might not be quite serving us!

Cierra Dae is a toddler nanny of 9 years with a special focus in emotional intelligence and regulation with littles through mindfulness and somatic expression tools. A lover of humanity and connection, desiring the truest and most authentic and transparent expressions of self. Expanding and opening hearts through playing with the yin and yang energies, practicing and hosting pause + play to nurture peace, acceptance, and joy.

💖Bring a blanket/towel/something to sit on for the space when our bodies need rest

💖Gatherings are weather permitting. If classes are cancelled, an email will be sent out to all sign ups as well as a notification post in my instagram stories + facebook page.

HOW TO FIND US IN FLORA WYLIE:

Follow the yellow brick road (tapestry) hanging in a tree. We'll be near the parking lot off of North Shore Dr NE under the tree next to the picnic table if available. If that location isn't available, the new location will be posted on my social media but will typically be in the same general area.
