About the Event
Welcome to KOMA's Yin Play - "Soft Sundays"
♥If you’ve been out to a weekly KOMA class, you’ve seen the beautiful chaos that we create that allows space for a lot of loud, active, and fast-paced movement and expression. (this is called Yang energy)
♥I've been a toddler nanny for 8 years and wanted to offer a class to the community to help give caregivers of littles an opportunity to get out and be playful.
♥Our Sunday classes will now be focused on softer, slower, and gentler movement. (This is called yin energy.)
♥In these classes we’ll incorporate animal yoga, different breathing exercises, water sensory activities, and of course, bubbles!
♥These classes are great for littles with sensory sensitivities and need more space and pause to feel comfortable in their environments.
♥A typical run down of our time together:
Circle time: Introductions, breathing exercises, waking up our faces
Movement time: Yoga/stretches, body wiggles
Sensory and bubble party time: Water sensory play, squirt guns, bubbles small + large!
♥Its time to savor the little moments and build a practice of pause and mindfulness through slow and gentle activities!
♥HOW TO FIND US IN FLORA WYLIE:
Follow the yellow brick road (tapestry) hanging in a tree. We'll be near the parking lot off of North Shore Dr NE under the tree next to the picnic table if available. If that location isn't available, the new location will be posted in the events discussion thread!
♥Gatherings are weather permitting.
